Kenwood 12s (AMAZING)
Any one who is looking at buying these subs just go ahead and get them. I upgraded from some kenwood 10s and now i have these ones and they are amazing.i only have 800 watts for the both of them and they hit hard. I would highly recommend this purchase for the great price.
cant be beat for the price!
I have two of these in the back of my '85 crown vic with vented boxes rated at 44Hz. They are powered by a Pyle 1400watt amp running on two channels. I have had them both for about a year and they still sound great! I would say that they distort at high bass range but are great for 50 to 25 Hz. They shook off the rearview mirror, and are starting to loosen the dome light above the driver seat. All my neighbors hate me, and refer to me as a ghetto child, but that doesn't discourage me from listening to high quality music. They sound great with 4 kenwood KFC-6982IE 6-Inch x 9-Inch speakers and two Kenwood KFC-1661S 6.5-Inch speakers. Kenwood all the way! For the price, you cant do any better.
Amazing
If you're the type of person that looks for quality over loudness then this is definately the best sub for you. Don't get me wrong it can pack a punch but what I like overall is the quality and durability of it. I've had it for quite a while now and haven't had any problems. i found it in the store as well for around $110 too. Great price, great sub. Buy it.

Product Description
Each roll on a typical subwoofer spider has a uniform height but because the center area is subject to increased stress when for example, a subwoofer's excursion is especially large - this area can become stretched out, leading to breakage in the spider and limiting higher power handling. However, Kenwood's new spider roll gradually becomes higher towards the center, enabling this area to withstand more stress with less stretching. The design goal was to gradually transfer up-down movement outward to reduce stretching in the center area. As the spider's outward portion has more surface area to better dissipate stress from the center, this helps to reduce mechanical damage during increased excursion and enables the subwoofer to withstand more power.
